Tiger Woods and his business entity, TGR Ventures, entered a strategic partnership with PopStroke Entertainment Group that will have the 2019 Masters champion designing mini-putt courses, he announced Thursday.

PopStroke shares a similar business model with Topgolf by providing food, drinks, and a variety of additional entertainment options, while the core product remains focused on golf.

"Some of my happiest memories are spending time with my pops on the golf course having putting contests," Tiger said. "I'm looking forward to others enjoying time with their kids at PopStroke. This is a new way for individuals to experience the game of golf. It's about bringing people together."

Tiger and his course design firm, TGR Design, will be responsible for developing the layouts of mini-putt courses for future locations. TGR Design functions under the umbrella of TGR Ventures.

"This is a natural extension of my golf-course design philosophy and my TGR Design business," Tiger said. "Our goal has always been to design courses that bring people together and are fun for golfers of all abilities and ages."

PopStroke has one location open in Port St. Lucie, Florida, with two others under development.
