Viktor Hovland is really good.
The Norwegian rookie carded a 6-under 64 in the final round of A Military Tribute at the Greenbrier for his 17th consecutive score under 70, which tied a PGA Tour record set by Bob Estes in 1983.
Hovland has only played in 11 PGA Tour tournaments and six as a professional. His last round in the 70s was Round 3 of the Rocket Mortgage Classic in late June.
Additionally, the 21-year-old has a Sunday scoring average of 64.4 over his last five final rounds.
He ended his week at the Greenbrier inside the top 10 after starting the day well outside the top 30.
