Justin Thomas underwent a procedure to remove an early-stage melanoma growth from his leg, he announced Thursday.
The 26-year-old discovered the small, cancerous mole on his left leg during a check-up at the dermatologist. He was told after its removal there should be no problems going forward.
Thomas posted a photo of his scar on Instagram and used it as an opportunity to raise awareness about the harm the sun can have, especially on golfers.
