Si Woo Kim carded a 3-under 69 to see his commanding 36-hole lead shrink to a single stroke after Saturday's round at the Valero Texas Open.
Kim entered the 3rd round up four shots over a handful of players, including Rickie Fowler and Jordan Spieth, but it was Canadian Corey Conners who narrowed the gap to one after shooting a 66. Conners (-14) qualified for the Texas Open on Monday and now sits alone in second.
Charley Hoffman fired the low round of the day with an 8-under 64, putting him alone in third at 13-under par.
Spieth struggled while playing in the final group Saturday, opening with a 6-over 42 on the front nine before battling back to finish the day at 1-over.
Fowler also shot 1-over with an eagle on his final hole to settle at 7-under, in a tie for 16th.
The final threesome tees off Sunday at 12:30 p.m. ET.
