Watch: 5 best shots from The Players Championship
The 2019 Players Championship provided four days of drama, capped by a phenomenal final round on Sunday that yielded a deserving champion in Rory McIlroy.
Let's take some time to relive some of the week's best shots.
Harris English's albatross
From 236 yards, Harris English made a two on the par-5 11th for an uber-rare albatross. Unfortunately, English's luck quickly ran out as he went on to miss the cut by three shots.
Moore dunks on the island green
Ryan Moore made perhaps the nicest hole-in-one that has ever graced the island green 17th, as his ball rattled the flagstick on its way in.
Fowler's hole-out eagle
Even though it was from only 80 yards, Rickie Fowler jarred one for eagle on the par-5 second. His ball literally disappeared while it was still a few feet in the air.
Sungjae Im pulls the string
There aren't many things better than watching a Tour pro pull the string for an ace, which is exactly what 20-year-old Sungjae Im did. Get used to hearing this phenom's name.
Vegas' record-setting putt
Jhonattan Vegas dropped a 70-foot birdie putt on the 17th hole during Sunday's final round, the longest putt ever recorded on the iconic hole. The fact that he was in contention and wound up finishing in a tie for third makes this bomb even more spectacular.
Honorable mention: Rory's rocket on No. 8
Rory McIlroy delivered many shots over the week that proved he's the best ball-striker in the world, but none were as mesmerizing as the piercing 4-iron he hit into the 238-yard par 3 on Saturday, which rolled to a mere 14 inches of the cup.
Have your say!
