Tiger Woods had it all working on Friday, climbing up the leaderboard with a 5-under 66 in Round 2 of the WGC-Mexico Championship.
After opening with a lackluster 71, Tiger began his ascent with three birdies on his first six holes and made the turn at 3-under. He added two more red numbers on the back nine to get inside the event's top 10.
The highlight of his round was this fairway bunker shot on his final hole, where he hit a massive cut around a tree and nearly holed out thanks to some wicked side spin:
However, he failed to convert the makeable birdie putt to close his round.
Tiger ended the day six shots behind leader Dustin Johnson with 36 holes left to play.
