Woods, McIlroy headline marquee groups at the Open Championship
The Open Championship is heading to Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland for the first time since 1951 and will feature a world-class field set to compete for the coveted Claret Jug and "Champion Golfer of the Year" honors.
Tiger Woods will play the opening two rounds with Patrick Reed and England's Matt Wallace beginning at 10:10 a.m. ET.
Meanwhile, Rory McIlroy will be looking to win The Open on home soil. He'll tee off at 5:09 a.m. ET on Thursday alongside U.S. Open Champion Gary Woodland and Paul Casey.
