Koepka holds 2-shot lead heading into final round at PGA Championship

Brooks Koepka fired a 4-under 66 in Round 3 of the PGA Championship Saturday to carry a two-shot lead into the final round.

The two-time U.S. Open champion carded a clean 5-under front nine and at one point held a five-stroke lead over the field. However, he made back-to-back bogeys on the back nine to land himself at 12-under for the event.

Adam Scott is alone in second after a brilliant 65 in Round 3. The Aussie has only one top-10 finish this season.

Some heavy hitters, all searching for their first career major, are in a tie for third, with Jon Rahm, Rickie Fowler and Gary Woodland all three shots off the pace.

Tiger Woods shot his second straight 66 of the tournament to sit in a tie for sixth with a star-studded group.

Jason Day and Justin Thomas, who had to wrap up their second rounds early on Saturday, join Woods at the 8-under mark after posting 67 and 68 respectively.

It was a disappointing day for the world No. 1, as Dustin Johnson turned in a 2-over 72 to take himself out of contention.

The shot of the day belonged to England's Matt Wallace, who made a hole-in-one on the 232-yard par-3 16th.
