Only a week away from the third major on the PGA calendar, one of the best players on Tour is dealing with injury issues, as Henrik Stenson withdrew from the Scottish Open on Monday with elbow problems.

Stenson is in the midst of yet another solid season - he's posted two top-10 finishes at both of this year's major tournaments (fifth place at The Masters, and tied for sixth at the U.S. Open). But, due to the nagging elbow issue, the 17th-ranked player in the world is in jeopardy of missing out on another crack at a major title this year.

Stenson won the 2016 Open Championship at Royal Troon. This year's event will be hosted at Carnoustie Golf Links.
