Tiger Woods appears to be searching for answers in order to improve his putting, an area of major disappointment so far in his 2018 campaign.
Even though his famous Scotty Cameron is still in his bag, Woods was spotted on the practice green at TPC Potomac, host of this week's Quicken Loans National, using a Taylormade TP Ardmore mallet putter.

Tiger ranks 89th in strokes gained: putting on the year and has been dreadful on the greens in three of his last four events. At the Wells Fargo Championship and the Memorial, Woods lost 5.8 and 7.7 strokes putting, respectively.
This isn't the first time Tiger has tested or even used a different style of putter, as he once played with a Nike mallet in the 2011 Masters.

Regardless if he puts the new putter in the bag this week or not, the tinkering suggests Tiger's struggles on the greens are beginning to impact the 14-time major champion's psyche.
