Patton Kizzire claimed his first career PGA Tour title Sunday, winning the OHL Classic at Mayakoba in Mexico.

Kizzire fired a final-round 67 to finish at 19-under par for the week, holding off a late charge by Rickie Fowler to win by one shot.

"It was pretty nerve-wracking, but I felt good," Kizzire told the Golf Channel. "I've been in some pretty tough spots before, and I drew on those experiences. It means a lot. I'm pretty excited right now, pretty emotional, and I was glad to get it done."

Fowler grabbed a solo second finish in his 2017-18 PGA Tour debut with rounds of 65-67-67-67, while Si Woo Kim finished in third place, which was his first top-10 result since winning THE PLAYERS in May.

Charles Howell III and Martin Pillar shared fourth position at 14-under par.

The win earns Kizzire invitations for the first time to Sentry Tournament of Champions and The Masters.
