Tiger acknowledges comeback uncertainty: 'I don't know what my future holds'

If Tiger Woods is in front of a microphone, one thing has become certain: he will be asked when he plans to return to professional golf.

At the Presidents Cup on Wednesday, protocol was followed, and Woods didn't provide much clarity to the million-dollar question.

"I don't know what my future holds," Woods told ESPN's Bob Harig, acknowledging that a return to the PGA Tour isn't a guarantee.

Woods underwent back surgery in April, but the procedure quickly became an afterthought upon his DUI arrest in May. The 41-year-old pleaded guilty and agreed to enter a diversion program.

In late August, the Woods was given medical clearance to practice pitch shots, but hasn't been able to do much else on the course since.

Over the weekend, Woods will be at Liberty National, serving as an assistant captain for Team USA.
