The leaders have just teed off in the third round of the PGA Championship on Saturday, and Louis Oosthuizen has already hit the shot of the day.
Oosthuizen's tee shot at the par-4 second hole finished left of the fairway up against a tree, leaving him few options for the second attempt off the pine straw. While many would've chipped back out to the fairway, the South African decided to go for the green.
The 2010 Open champion used an upright swing to prevent smacking the tree on his backswing and threw the club head on the ball, watching it run onto the green, where he would save par.
Oosthuizen did hurt his right arm on the shot, and received medical attention after completing the hole, but continued playing.
