One day after he was spotted testing out an M1 driver, Rory McIlroy announced he's reached a deal to make TaylorMade his new club supplier.

The long-term agreement includes all 14 clubs, as well as his ball and bag.

"I've been on tour for 10 years and I can't remember a time I've been this excited about my equipment," McIlroy said, according to E. Michael Johnson of Golf Digest.

He previously used Nike clubs, but the company announced its exit from equipment manufacturing last August, and the world No. 2 has been testing different brands. He'll still use Nike apparel and footwear.

McIlroy will use his TaylorMade clubs this week at the Players Championship, save for his putter, which will remain an Odyssey while he tests different options from his new brand.

TaylorMade now equips the world's top three golfers in Dustin Johnson, McIlroy, and Jason Day, who are ranked Nos. 1, 2, and 3, respectively.
