Lamont Marcell Jacobs is the world's newest fastest man. And no one saw it coming.
The Italian won the men's 100-meter dash on Sunday at the Tokyo Olympics in a time of 9.80.
USA's Fred Kerley won silver (9.84), and Canada's Andre De Grasse won bronze (9.89).
All three medalists set personal bests with their times in a stunning race.

It's De Grasse's second straight bronze medal in this event after a third-place finish in Rio in 2016. He's Canada's first man to medal at this year's Tokyo Games.
