Lynx's Reeve to coach U.S. women's national team

Minnesota Lynx coach and general manager Cheryl Reeve will be the next head coach of the U.S. women's national team, USA Basketball announced Wednesday.

Reeve, 55, is a four-time WNBA champion, three-time Coach of the Year, and one-time Executive of the Year since joining the Lynx in 2010.
Reeve has also previously served as an assistant coach for Team USA, including on Geno Auriemma's staff at Rio 2016 and on Dawn Staley's staff at Tokyo 2020 this past summer - winning the Olympic gold medal both times.
