It's a record that might never be broken.
The Toronto Maple Leafs celebrated the 40th anniversary of Hall of Famer Darryl Sittler and his 10-point game on Feb. 7, 1976 against the Boston Bruins.
The anniversary was commemorated with a video tribute prior to the opening puck drop with members of the Maple Leafs' '76 team in attendance.

Good sport goaltender David Reece who gave up 11 goals on in the 11-4 shelling that lonely night also showed his face.

Big change for Dave Reece...for more than 20 years, refused to talk about Sittler's 10-point game. Now, part of the celebration.

Sittler's record has yet to be matched. The next highest total is eight points in a single game - which has been achieved by 11 different players. Sam Gagner last accomplished the eight-point feat as a member of the Edmonton Oilers on Feb. 2, 2012.
