Minnesota players got Wild with alligator during All-Star Weekend
The Minnesota Wild haven't had it easy on the ice of late with just one win in their last nine games, and on All-Star Weekend, four players couldn't even get through a round of golf without running into trouble.
That trouble was an alligator - which forward Nino Niederreiter snapped a photo of and shared on Twitter while golfing in Cancun, Mexico, with teammates Marco Scandella, Matt Dumba, and Darcy Kuemper.

"It was probably 3 or 4 feet away with his mouth open the whole time looking at us," Niederreiter said, laughing, per the Star Tribune. "So we took a quick pic and got out of there. It was neat to see them … in action, I guess."
Though the team lost to the New York Islanders 5-3 on Tuesday, Niederreiter and Dumba both recorded two points while Kuemper stopped all eight shots he faced in relief of starter Devan Dubnyk.
