John Scott was revered by his peers before an online vote for the 2016 NHL All-Star Game was ever cast. It just took his inclusion for everyone to realize it.
Here's proof of their admiration for the lovable enforcer, who was hoisted onto the shoulders of his teammates after captaining the Pacific Division to a $1-million cash prize.
When asked about the impromptu lift Scott joked, according to TSN's Frank Seravalli: "I was nervous. I'm not a light guy - I'm almost 300 pounds soaking wet."
