The Detroit Red Wings made the right call keeping 19-year-old Dylan Larkin on the roster.
General manager Ken Holland typically opts to bring prospects along slowly, but the 15th overall pick from 2014 is proving himself worthy of skipping the AHL development process.
To wit, Larkin scored his 10th goal of the season Sunday against Florida, taking advantage of a rare miscue on the part of Aleksander Barkov and ripping the puck past Roberto Luongo.

Larkin now leads all rookies in goals, two ahead of the field.
