Boston Bruins forward Frank Vatrano left Thursday's game against the Minnesota Wild and did not return due to an upper-body injury, according to head coach Claude Julien.
The injury was suffered during the second period after Vatrano took a hard hit into the boards from Wild defenseman Nate Prosser.
There is no word yet on the severity of the injury.
Vatrano has not recorded a point in his last five games after scoring in his NHL debut Nov. 7.
