Is there any doubt where Alex Ovechkin will reside when his hockey career is over?

Two days before Sergei Fedorov is officially inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, Ovechkin matched the Russian great on the country's all-time NHL goal-scoring list with his 483rd career goal.

Incredibly, the Washington Capitals sniper needed 476 fewer games than Fedorov did to reach the mark.

With a little under three minutes left in the game, Ovechkin appeared to have the record-breaking goal with an expert backhand in front, but Leafs coach Mike Babcock successfully contended via coach's challenge that Justin Williams had interfered with James Reimer.
