Report: Babcock to be named Canada's coach at World Cup of Hockey
Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Mike Babcock will be behind the bench for Canada once again.
Babcock is expected to be named the head coach of Canada for the upcoming World Cup of Hockey, according to TSN's Darren Dreger.
The decision isn't a surprising one given Babcock coached Canada to a gold medal at the last two Olympic Games.
In addition, Chicago Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville and Boston Bruins head coach Claude Julien are expected to be named assistants.
An official announcement will be made Thursday.
