Yakupov converted on a pass from Connor McDavid on the power play in Sunday's win over Vancouver.
Analysis:
McDavid and Yakupov is starting to look like it could be a thing, so take full advantage. Skating on the second line with the young phenom, Yakupov has piled on two goals, three points and eight shots on goal in his last two games. If the 22-year-old Russian sticks in the Oilers' top-six and doesn't fall off, he's primed for a big bounce-back season.
