First shot, first goal.
After being outshot 3-0 by the Toronto Maple Leafs early in Wednesday's season opener, the Montreal Canadiens took a 1-0 lead on a seemingly harmless shot from captain Max Pacioretty that managed to squeak past Jonathan Bernier.
The goal - the very first of the 2015-16 regular season - was set up by a brilliant breakout pass from P.K. Subban.
