Los Angeles Kings defenseman Slava Voynov, who pleaded no contest on Thursday to a misdemeanor count of corporal injury to his spouse, Marta Varlamova, could begin serving his 90-day prison sentence as early as Monday.
Slava Voynov's agent, Rolland Hedges, said his client has yet to make decision on when to report to jail to begin serving time.

Voynov remains under indefinite suspension from the NHL, and the Kings have said they will reserve further comment until the league has conducted its own investigative process.
Los Angeles County Superior Court also mandated a $700 fine, a 52-week domestic violence course and eight hours of community service.
