Kevin Bieksa is heading to California after all.
The Vancouver Canucks have dealt the veteran defenseman to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for a second-round pick in 2016.
Bieksa is due to earn $2.5 million in the final year of a contract with a cap hit of $4.6 million. Vancouver was actively shopping the 34-year-old, coming close to a deal with the San Jose Sharks before discussions fell apart.

The Ducks are expected to sign Bieksa to an extension, with an announcement expected Wednesday, according to TSN's Darren Dreger.
