The Boston Bruins have finalized their four-year extension with defenseman Adam McQuaid, which will keep the rugged rearguard under their banner through the 2018-19 season.
He will cost $2.75 million against the cap each season.
McQuaid, who's spent his entire six-year career with the Bruins, dressed in 63 games last season, tallying seven points and 85 penalty minutes.
He figures to be thrust into a more focal role next season with the departure of Dougie Hamilton.
