Report: Simon Gagne eyeing return to NHL next season, isn't retiring

Simon Gagne is campaigning for another season.
The veteran forward, who left the Boston Bruins in December following the death of his father, is training in hopes of landing another NHL opportunity next season, reports Sportsnet's Damien Cox.
Inactivity is killer in a young man's game, but his meager output in Boston last season suggests Gagne was already skating on his final legs.
He scored three goals and added one assist in 23 starts.
