The New York Rangers finally figured out Washington Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby after 100 minutes of frustration.

Derick Brassard fired a quick shot over Holtby's shoulder on a rush 6:12 into the second period, opening the scoring of Wednesday's Game 4, and stopping Holtby's shutout streak at 100 minutes and five seconds. The Rangers had not scored since the third period of Game 2 prior to Brassard's tally.

Washington responded with Andre Burakovsky's first career playoff goal 10:17 later to tie the contest.
