VIDEO: Joel Ward scores game-winning goal vs. Rangers with 1.3 seconds remaining

Well that escalated quickly.

With overtime looming, Joel Ward ended Game 1 in New York at the 19:58 mark of the third period off a nice feed from Alex Ovechkin, giving the Washington Capitals a 2-1 win over the Rangers.

The goal was Ward's second of the playoffs and literally could not have come at a better time.
