With Ottawa Senators goaltender Andrew Hammond or "The Hamburglar," as he's been coined, being the talk of the NHL, Sens fans have resorted to throwing hamburgers on the ice as a way to celebrate wins.
Things didn't change Thursday. Following a high-scoring affair against the Boston Bruins, that saw both teams score in under a minute on two separate occasions, fans once again littered the ice with burgers following a 6-4 Sens win.
Hammond however, wasn't the only one enjoying the meaty serenade, as rookie Curtis Lazar picked up a thrown burger and mowed down as if he'd ordered it himself.
Lazar poked a little fun about having a post-game meal on Twitter following the game.
The Sens are red-hot having won five straight games, so there could be many more burgers to be eaten if they keep it up.
