Not even a slap shot to the head can stop The Hamburglar.
New York Islanders defenseman Johnny Boychuk one-timed a shot that struck Ottawa Senators goaltender Andrew Hammond in the mask in the second period of Friday's game.

The game was delayed for several minutes while the Senators' equipment staff helped Hammond repair his headgear.
He stayed in the game and stopped 34-of-35 shots en route to a 2-1 victory.
The puck wasn't so lucky.
