Jaroslav Halak is making a habit out of this.
The New York Islanders goaltender seized yet another franchise record with his 33rd victory Friday night, becoming the all-time leader in single-season wins in a 2-1 triumph over the Calgary Flames.
Halak was perfect in the face of 26 shots well into the final minute, but had the shutout spoiled on a late tip in front from Josh Jooris.
He is 33-13-0 in his first season with the Islanders, an impressive campaign that saw him eclipse Billy Smith's mark of consecutive wins and become the fastest to reach 30.
