Vancouver Canucks enforcer Tom Sestito has waited a long time to get his first taste of NHL action this season, and he was a bit too eager to make an impact in his debut appearance on Saturday night.
In the first period of Vancouver's game against the Edmonton Oilers, Sestito attempted to lay out Oilers forward Matt Hendricks. Things didn't quite go the way Sestito envisioned them:
A bit of slapstick comedy never hurt anybody, but Sestito may have been fortunate to miss on this check. If he'd connected, it looks like it may have been a boarding major.
