Vancouver Canucks attendance was expected to take a significant hit this season, and on Friday the team revealed its streak of consecutive sellouts came to an end:

The Canucks sold out their home opener against the Edmonton Oilers last Saturday after ending last season with their 473rd straight capacity crowd.
That means the Canucks' first non-sellout crowd in nearly 12 years will take place on Saturday when Vancouver battles the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The first sellout of the streak came on November 14, 2002 - a 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings.
The Canucks even put together a detailed infographic to celebrate the streak.
