According to azcentral reporter Sarah McLellan, Arizona Coyotes first-round pick Brendan Perlini has a broken bone in his right hand, which is why he has not skated since Thursday.
Perlini sticking around camp for a few more days so #Coyotes doctors can determine severity, Maloney said.

Perlini - selected 12th overall in June - had an outside chance to make the Coyotes' roster prior to the injury. Arizona seems very likely to send Perlini back to the OHL for another season of junior hockey regardless of the severity of the break.
