You don't get a nickname like Johnny Hockey without being infectious.
Fourth-overall pick Sam Bennett continued to laud Johnny Gaudreau following the Calgary Flames' Young Stars Classic tournament, crediting his fellow high-profile prospect for helping elevate his game when they skated on the same line.
"You can see it in my play," Bennett said via the Calgary Sun. "From the first game I played to the second game, he made me that much more comfortable and that much better.
"When you’re a player that makes people better, that’s an unbelievable attribute for you to have, and he definitely has it."
It's safe to assume whose name Bennett will be scanning the whiteboard for when the Flames organize lines Thursday at the start of training camp.
