PHOTO: Red Wings prospect takes graphic selfie of mangled mouth after hit by puck

Detroit Red Wings prospect Mitch Callahan has some extra real estate in his mouth after he was hit in the face by a puck during the first period of Wednesday's game between the AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins and the Iowa Wild.

A shot from teammate Ryan Sproul knocked out most of Callahan's remaining front teeth (he was already missing two prior to the contest) and left him with a bloody, swollen mouth. So, naturally, he took a selfie:

Callahan's mouth looks like it will put an orthodontist's kids through college.
