The top seven P.K. Subban hits

Although the Montreal Canadiens topped the Pittsburgh Penguins in a shootout on Thursday night, it was not a memorable evening for P.K. Subban.

The reigning Norris Trophy winner and member of Team Canada's gold medal winning Olympic squad coughed up the puck to Brandon Sutter, who evened up the score for the Penguins with a shorthanded marker on a breakaway early in the third period. Subban found himself nailed to the bench for remainder of the evening.

Rather than dwell on the negatives, we'll honor Subban with a look at some of the hardest hits he's administered since coming into the NHL back in 2009-10. Here are the top seven P.K. Subban hits.

David Krejci gets hammered and chaos ensues

The slow-motion replays here show Subban catching Krejci in the head, although it doesn't necessarily look intentional. I'm sure Subban intended for it to be a good hit, right?

Patrick Dwyer goes down

Nothing to argue about here, just a beautiful hit right where Subban likes to line them up.

A total disregard for Adam Larsson's life

Subban has made a habit of lining up Bruins players coming across the blue line, but this one right here is his best work.
