TSN's McKenzie on Datsyuk: 'He's entitled to play at the Olympics'
TSN's Bob McKenzie joined TSN Radio 1050 Tuesday afternoon and revealed that while Detroit Red Wings forward Pavel Datsyuk may not be 100 percent, he will go to Sochi.
The Red Wings have voiced their concerns over Datsyuk's leg, but McKenzie reported he won't be left behind when Team Russia competes. "He's entitled to go play at the Olympics," McKenzie said.
Datsyuk will likely not have to return to the Red Wings lineup before heading to Sochi due to his age and his status as a superstar forward.
