Tortorella after loss in return to bench: 'We need to change the complexion of our hockey club'
Vancouver Canucks head coach John Tortorella wasn't overly impressed with what he saw in his return to the bench after a six-game absence.
After Monday's 2-0 loss to the Detroit Red Wings, Tortorella had this to say, via the Vancouver Sun.
"We need to change the complexion of our hockey club, either with our play or with different people because we looked like a slow hockey team tonight. We are going to keep banging away to try and get better, but I tell you it is very frustrating to see the same looks. It worries me, I’ll leave it that. It really worries me."
Your move, Mike Gillis.
Vancouver has lost four games in a row, and things won't get any easier when they visit the Boston Bruins on Tuesday.
