Vanek on overturned OT goal: 'If that's Pittsburgh or a top team, that's maybe a goal'

The New York Islanders thought they had their afternoon game against the St. Louis Blues all wrapped up in overtime thanks to Thomas Vanek. The goal was reviewed and a 'distinct kicking motion' prevented the Islanders from heading to the dressing room.

The game would go to a shootout and the Blues would come out victorious after tying the game late in the third thanks to T.J. Oshie. 

Vanek wasn't too happy afterwards as he told Arthur Staple:

The classic, 'the league doesn't care about us and that's why we lost' defense.
