Oilers trade G LaBarbera to Blackhawks for future considerations
The Edmonton Oilers made a move to clear the logjam in their crease Saturday.

The move frees up a roster spot for Edmonton with goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov close to returning from injury. The Blackhawks can use LaBarbera to back up rookie Antti Raanta while Corey Crawford and Nikolai Khabibulin remain out.
