The Montreal Canadiens signed forward Zack Bolduc to a four-year contract with a $4.2-million cap hit, the team announced Sunday.
Bolduc was a restricted free agent, and the contract begins this campaign.
The 23-year-old tallied 12 goals and 30 points in 78 games last season, his first with Montreal. He also led all Canadiens forwards with 170 hits. Bolduc added three goals and seven points in 19 playoff contests.
The Canadiens acquired Bolduc from the St. Louis Blues in July 2025 in exchange for defenseman Logan Mailloux.
Bolduc has 36 goals and 75 points in 175 career games over three seasons.
Montreal has $3.4 million of projected cap space after signing Bolduc, according to PuckPedia. The Canadiens have yet to sign restricted free-agent defenseman Arber Xhekaj.
