Colorado Avalanche defenseman Andre Benoit had an interesting secind period against the Phoenix Coyotes on Thursday.
First, he was forced to leave the game after taking a puck to the face.
Benoit hit in the face with a puck, off a deflection, and skates off the ice and retreats to the dressing room.

Several minutes later, Benoit returned and gave his team a 2-0 lead.

The goal was Benoit's first of the year, to go along with his eight assists.
