Cam Ward to miss 3-4 weeks with lower body injury

by Jake Goldsbie

After leaving tonight's game against the Minnesota Wild, the Carolina Hurricanes have announced that Cam Ward will miss 3-4 weeks with what is being called a lower-body injury.

Ward was replaced by Justin Peters after the injury who looks to be the starter going forward.

The Hurricanes' original backup goalie, Anton Khudobin, was placed on IR on October 14th, also with a lower-body injury.

Tough times in Carolina.
