Jonas Brodin is on the shelf again.
The Minnesota Wild defenseman is considered week-to-week with a lower-body injury, the team announced Sunday.
Brodin sustained the ailment during Friday's 5-2 loss to the Colorado Avalanche. He left the game after logging one shot and four blocks in 15:47 of ice time.
His latest injury comes just seven contests after he returned from a 12-game absence, also because of a lower-body issue. Brodin was felled by an upper-body injury for eight matchups in December.
Brodin has been limited to just 38 contests this season, chipping in with four goals and 18 points while averaging 22:42 of ice time.
He represented Sweden at the 4 Nations Face-Off, scoring a goal in the opener against Canada.
Minnesota is also without forwards Kirill Kaprizov and Joel Eriksson Ek. The former has been out since undergoing surgery to address a lower-body injury in late January, while the latter suffered an injury at practice last week.
The Wild have lost their past three games in a row and hold the third spot in the Central Division with a 34-22-4 record heading into Sunday's game against Boston.
