Makar returns vs. Jets after exiting previous game
Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar suited up for Colorado's 1-0 loss against the first-place Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night.
Makar departed Tuesday's 6-3 victory over the Seattle Kraken after he suffered an apparent noncontact injury in the second period. He returned for a brief shift in the final frame but was ultimately unable to continue playing.

Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar said postgame that Makar had "tweaked something" but didn't provide further clarification.
The 2022 Norris Trophy winner entered Thursday's action with 23 points in 13 games, trailing only teammate Nathan MacKinnon for the league lead.
Colorado currently sits sixth in the Central Division with a 6-7-0 record and .462 points percentage.
