The Buffalo Sabres signed restricted free-agent forward Peyton Krebs to a two-year deal with an average annual value of $1.45 million, the team announced Tuesday.
Krebs appeared in a career-high 80 games this past season, amassing four goals and 17 points while averaging 12:30 minutes of ice time per contest.
The Sabres acquired Krebs from the Golden Knights in November 2021 as part of the trade that sent superstar Jack Eichel to Vegas. Sin City selected Krebs with the 17th overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft.
The 23-year-old center has racked up 20 goals and 66 points in 215 career NHL games.
